Description
The TRB Global Road Safety Subcommittee, under the Traffic Safety Management Committee (ANB10), was formed and first convened at the TRB Annual Meeting in the first year of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety (2011-2020). Our mission is to increase collaboration and knowledge sharing among diverse entities with the common interest of preventing deaths and injuries on the world’s roads. [Full Mission Statement]

TRB Global Road Safety Subcommittee meeting are a collaborative environemnt to share and discuss global road safety issues.
WORKSHOPS
TRB Global Road Safety Subcommittee has hosted several pivotal TRB workshops around theme of the UN decade of action for global road safety.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
The subcommittee is engaged in hosting global road safety activities, and contributing to relevant TRB research needs statements and other TRB activities.
